Can't Be Tamed: Too Sexy?

Can't Be Tamed??  Really Miley Cyrus you have to go there??  She is only 17!  Oh my!  Is this really age appropiate?  I myself am 24 years old and I could never see myself acting that way, dancing that way with guys and girls, dressing that way, or saying the things she says in that video.  I was completely shocked when I saw it....

I'm not trying to put myself on a high horse or anything like that, it's just wow, I could not believe Miley was going to that extreme.  When she first became a star it seemed like she had her head on straight, had been raised with a good moral family and appeared to actually be a good role model.  Just a likable, pretty,  goofy and kind of dorky girl. 

Something obviously has changed.  Do you think fame has changed here??  What do you girls think??  Is this the kind of clothes you think a 17 year old should be wearing?  Do you think what she sings and how she acts is appropriate for someone like Miley, especially since she is seen as a role model, whether we want to admit it or not.  Many young girls who follow her through Hannah Montana will be looking to her to see what's "cool" and how to act.  I'm actually frightened to see what type of celebrity "role models" will be out there when I have children.....yikes!  

Does one have to promote their bodies like that to sell music or to become famous??  Does sex really sell??

 To be stylish, do you think you have to be so revealing?  Too sexy?  I myself, do not think so.  A lot of you bloggers on here are so stylish and beauitiful without being overdone or too revealing. 

I really would like to know what you girls think about this.  Are you as shocked as I am??  What do you think about the video?  Will it only get worse from here?

Miley Cyrus and Ashley Tisdale, both center stage ready. Who do you think looks better? I think Miley pulled her look off, and looks great. Her hair looks great, and I'm loving the boots, although I'm sure they can get quite warm after a while!

I like Ashley's brown hair, but I'm not liking this outfit! Those shorts are terrible looking! Too short and with the white part sticking out like that, it looks unattractive! Normally I don't have a problem with what she wears! But no way am I liking this! What do you think?

What about Taylor Momsen? Are you liking this look?? Her makeup and hair doesn't look too intense, like it normally does, which is nice.

Lady Gaga and Katy Perry

Lady Gaga, what were you thinking?? Her chest is really up and out there! lol I'm not liking this look, it's just too much! which I know she normally does have very unusual outfits anyway, but this one is one of the worst. I do like the shade of gold though!

Katy Perry looks like she's going to go for a swim but she's on stage. It's cute if it were actually worn to go swimming! Any thoughts??
